We can't show you our shop yet (it's a corner of a real workshop in a real city, and we'll do a proper studio tour soon). But we can describe exactly what arrives when you order something from us.
The box
A small, rigid cardboard mailer — not a poly bag. Cardboard is more expensive and we use it anyway because the part inside doesn't get crushed in transit.
The inside
Your part is wrapped in unbleached tissue paper, taped on the seam with a small linen tape sticker. We do this because every print is something someone designed, and it deserves to arrive feeling like a gift.
The note
Every box has a hand-written thank-you note. Not a printed card, not a sticker. Five to ten seconds of actual handwriting, dated and signed. We do this on every single order — we'll keep doing it as long as we can.
The receipt
A small folded sheet with your order ID, what was printed, in what material and color, and a one-line note about turnaround time. If you have a print problem, this is the slip you reference in an email.
What you won't find
- Plastic packing peanuts. Bad for the world, bad for the recipient's vacuum.
- Marketing inserts. Coupons for our other products, "follow us on Instagram!" cards, etc. You ordered a print. We ship you a print.
- Branded waste. No PrintRush-stamped wrappers that go straight in the bin. Just tissue paper and the part.
We're a small shop. The packaging is one of the few places we get to express what kind of shop we are. We took the time.
If your order shows up and any of this is missing or wrong, tell us. We obsessively read those emails and they're how we improve.
