Our commitment to designers

Some products in the PrintRush shop are printed from 3D models originally published on third-party platforms (Printables, Thingiverse, MakerWorld, MyMiniFactory). We only list models whose license permits commercial sale of printed parts, and every imported product credits the original designer with a link back to the source page.

If you are a designer and you would like a product removed — for any reason, including but not limited to a license change, a copyright concern, or simply a preference that we not sell prints of your work — we will take it down promptly. You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice for us to act; a simple email is enough.

Quick takedown request

Email hello@printrush.app with:

  • A link to the product on our shop (or its product name)
  • A link to the original model page (Printables, etc.)
  • Your name and your relationship to the model

We will remove the listing within 2 business days and confirm by email. No legal language required.

Formal DMCA notice

If you prefer to file a formal notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, please include the following in your email to hello@printrush.app:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works at a single online site are covered, a representative list of such works).
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on the site (a URL is best).
  4. Your contact information — address, telephone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

How we verify licenses before listing

Our admin tool fetches the license declared on the source page at the moment of import and blocks publishing any model whose license does not permit commercial use (CC BY-NC, CC BY-NC-SA, CC BY-NC-ND, or any platform-specific paid license). Allowed licenses include CC0, CC BY, CC BY-SA, and CC BY-ND.

License classification is best-effort. If we have miscategorized a model on your page, please let us know — we will fix it immediately.

Counter-notices

If you believe a listing was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email with a written explanation and evidence of your right to use the material. We will review and respond within 10 business days.

Repeat infringement

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the ability of any user or third-party rights holder to upload, share, or list content on PrintRush who repeatedly infringes copyright.
