Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
We're a small print shop. We collect the data we need to print and ship your order and not much else. No advertising cookies, no selling your information to third parties, no behavioral tracking. This page explains exactly what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Order data. Your name, shipping address, email, and what you ordered. Required to fulfill and ship the order.
- Payment data. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see your full card number — we only receive a transaction ID and the last four digits for reference.
- Uploaded STL files. The 3D models you upload for custom prints. Stored securely and only used to produce your order.
- Contact form messages. If you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message so we can reply.
- Basic server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp) for security and debugging. Retained for 30 days.
- Newsletter signups (if you opt in). Just your email address. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
What we don't collect
- Advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.
- Cross-site tracking pixels.
- Browser fingerprinting.
- Phone numbers (unless you give one when contacting us).
- Anything we don't need to print and ship your order.
Who we share data with
Only the services we need to run the business. None of these providers receive more data than they need to do their job:
- Stripe — payment processing. Receives your name, email, billing address, and card details (entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout).
- EasyPost — shipping label generation. Receives your name and shipping address.
- Vercel Blob / Railway storage — file hosting for uploaded STLs and product images.
- Email provider (Resend or similar) — sends order confirmations and replies to your contact messages.
- Postal carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) — receive your shipping address on the package label.
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. We only share with the providers above, and only the data they need to do their part of getting your order to you.
How long we keep things
- Order records: 7 years (US tax requirement).
- Uploaded STL files: 90 days after the order ships, then permanently deleted from active storage. Tell us if you want them kept longer.
- Contact messages: 2 years.
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Newsletter signups: Until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you what data we have about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements for order records).
- Stop using your data for newsletters or other optional purposes.
Email hello@printrush.app and we'll handle it within 30 days.
If you're in California, the EU, or the UK, you have additional rights under CCPA, GDPR, or UK-GDPR. Those rights are already covered by the above; reach out and reference your jurisdiction so we can respond correctly.
Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep your shopping cart working across pages. That's it — no analytics or advertising cookies. No banner needed.
Children
PrintRush isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you're a parent and believe we have data about your child, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
We'll update the “Last updated” date at the top when we change anything. For material changes that affect existing customers, we'll also email a heads-up.
